Guideline Hair Academy – Non-Surgical Hair Replacement Specialist Program
1. What is the Non-Surgical Hair Replacement Program?


This is a 6-week hands-on training program that teaches you how to design, construct, and install cranial prostheses and medical wigs. You’ll also learn branding, marketing, and how to launch your own hair replacement practice.

2. Do I need a cosmetology license to enroll?


No. This program focuses on non-surgical hair replacement, which does not require a cosmetology license in most states, including Arkansas.

3. How long is the program?


The program is 6 weeks, Monday–Friday, with 120 total contact hours.

4. What is included in the student kit?


Your kit includes:

Mannequin + canvas head

Ventilating needles

Cap bases, thread, adhesives

Combs, brushes, rollers

Mirror

Curling iron, flat iron, blow dryer

Apron and maintenance tools

Student workbook

 

Everything you need for training is provided.

5. How much is the total cost?


The complete program cost is $5,900, which includes:

Tuition

Student kit + tools

Facility & equipment fee

Registration + certification fee

 

Payment plans are available.

6. Do you offer financial aid or funding?


Yes. Eligible students may receive full or partial funding through Arkansas JobLink / WIOA.

Self-pay students can use installment plans, CareCredit, or Afterpay, based on availability.

7. Will I earn a certificate?


Yes. Graduates receive a:

Certificate of Completion – Non-Surgical Hair Replacement Specialist

This is a credential recognized in salons, medical settings, and private practices.

8. What careers can I start after graduation?

9. Is there an exam?


Yes. Students complete a hands-on skills assessment and a short written exam at the end of the program.

10. Can I start my own business after training?


Yes. The program includes training on:

Starting a hair replacement practice

Building your brand

Launching a private wig line

Marketing and client acquisition

11. What is your refund policy?
100% refund if the student withdraws before class begins

50% refund during Week 1

25% refund during Week 2

No refund after Week 3 of the program
